How do I get a copy of my birth certificate?

 

Birth certificates are available to the individual whose birth is recorded on the certificate, their parents or siblings. A spouse can get a copy provided they can produce a marriage license. All applicants must produce a photo ID. Copies can be obtained the the Vital Statistics Office in the Red Bank Municipal Building, 90 Monmouth Street, 2nd Floor, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Birth certificates are available by mail, but the request must include a copy of the photo ID. The cost is $10 per certified copy. How can I get a permit to park at the Red Bank Train Station?

 

The parking lot at the NJ Transit station is privately managed. For information on availability and prices, please call ParkAmerica at 800-523-1026.

 

How can I get a permit to park in a municipal lot?

 

To inquire about availability for a Municipal Parking Permit, which allows for parking in specified section of our municipal lots, please call our Parking Utility at 732-345-8135 so stop into their office on the second floor of the Municipal Building at 90 Monmouth Street. Residential permits are available to Red Bank residents at no charge. These allow residents to park their vehicles on the street of the residence the car is registered to for longer than the allotted parking limits for non-resident vehicles. These are also issued by the Parking Utility.

 

What day are the Fireworks held in Red Bank?

 

The annual Fireworks on the Navesink event is traditionally held on July 3rd. July 4th is reserved for a rain date. More information on this event can be found at www.kaboomfireworks.org or 732-842-7337, Donations can be sent to the Fireworks on the Navesink Committee, P.O. Box 155, Red Bank, NJ 07701.

 

Where can I find answers to questions about recycling and large trash pick ups?

 

The Red Bank Public Works Department pick up recyclables from residences every Wednesday, alternating between homes west of Broad Street and east of Broad Street. This means each residence gets a pick up every other Wednesday. Red Bank collects newspaper, glass, tin, aluminum and class one and two plastics. Large trash or bulk pick ups are done by appointment only. Residents can call Public Works to arrange for a pick up date. There are no bulk trash pick ups between January 1 and April 15. How do I inquire about renting one of the Borough fire houses for a private event?

 

For security reasons, Red Bank does not rent out the Borough fire houses or first aid building. We apologize for any inconvenience.
