An anchor in the Red Bank community, my friend, the Rev. Canon Terrence W. Rosheuvel will be retiring on July 24th as Rector of Saint Thomas Episcopal Church in Red Bank and we want to thank him for his stewardship not only of his congregation but also for his passionate and spirited involvement in the life of Red Bank.

Father’s presence in Red Bank has enriched the quality of life of all of our residents. I was fortunate to have met him upon his arrival and Saint Thomas and befriended him and his wonderful family from the start. He is a quiet dignified friend of so many. We have been blessed by his presence and his wisdom.

He was a founding Trustee of Lunch Break and hosted the soup kitchen in his church’s basement; he has served graciously on Library Board and has assisted me in so many community events.

I invite those people whose lives Father has impacted to join us on July 24th at 11:00 am at Saint Thomas for a Celebration of Thanksgiving for Canon Rosheuvel.

A grateful community thanks him for his many years of service.
