The Red Bank Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, October 2, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, first floor, Council Chambers, 90 Monmouth Street, Red Bank, New Jersey.  (Prior to the meeting, the Board will hold a public workshop in the conference room off of the first floor Council Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m.)

Seeking “d” variances for: use not permitted (wireless communications facility); and height (existing penthouse is 155 feet, proposed antennas are 152.75, maximum height permitted is 75 feet) to permit the installation of a wireless communications facility on the roof of an existing 12- story residential building. The applicant proposes to mount eight (8) antennas at a centerline height of 152.75 feet on the existing 155 foot high penthouse. A ten (10) foot by sixteen (16) foot steel platform is proposed to house radio and battery equipment for the antenna.WD Zone.

Seeking “d” variances for: an expansion of a non-conforming use (wireless communications facility) and for height (35 feet permitted, new antennas to be attached to the building at a maximum height of 68 feet) to permit the installation of a wireless telecommunications facility at an existing five story multi-family apartment building. The applicant proposes to mount six antennas at a maximum height of approximately 68 feet above ground level. The existing building has a height of approximately 63 feet with an approximately 74 foot high penthouse. The applicant also proposes to locate associated radio and battery equipment in the basement of the existing building. Bulk “c” variances have previously been granted for existing conditions: lot area, front yard setback, lot frontage, lot coverage, and side yard setback.RD Zone.
