Severe Weather Alert

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for our area until 7pm this evening. Thunderstorms are possible as well during that time. Residents and businesses should take precautions by securing any outdoor items that could be damaged or become projectiles during high winds.

Our emergency services are monitoring the weather and are in communication with local utility companies. Should storms occur and power lines fall, residents should not approach the lines. Live wires should be reported to the police department immediately. Power outages should be reported directly to JCP&L at 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877).
