Update to Sewer Main Break/Navesink River Impact

***Notice Update***
The Borough has communicated with the NJDEP with regard to last Wednesday's sewer main break and discharge to the Navesink River. This afternoon the NJDEP advised that both routine Shellfish testing and bathing beach testing were conducted, and normal testing levels were confirmed in the water.
No advisories exist at this time for the Navesink River due to the repaired sewer main break.
The Borough appreciates the community's patience during this time and understanding as we rectified this emergency situation.

El Municipio ha comunicado con el NJDEP con respecto a la rotura del conducto principal de alcantarillado y el vertido al río Navesink el pasado miércoles. Esta tarde, el NJDEP informó que se realizaron pruebas rutinarias de mariscos y pruebas de la calidad del agua en las playas, confirmando niveles normales en el agua.
En este momento no existen avisos para el río Navesink debido a la reparación del conducto principal de alcantarillado.
El Municipio agradece la paciencia de la comunidad durante este tiempo y su comprensión mientras resolvíamos esta situación de emergencia.
